One of these is not like the other two, and we hope your Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) modernization is sounding more like the “savvy western gunfighter”. Because no project is perfect and achieving MES modernization can be a complex, dynamic process, we want to hear from you on how you are navigating outdated business processes, cost overruns, conflicting goals, and defining achievable CMS outcomes. What we might consider “the bad and the ugly”. During this Roundtable discussion, you’ll hear from other states on where their project is in their current modernization journey, how they chose their approach, and what keeps them up at night as their project evolves. Each state Medicaid is unique, and each modernization landscape can drastically differ. Participants will share and learn about aligning business goals through all project phases including defining future business processes, requirements gathering, roadmap definition, and technology selection, and how these help with APD funding and achieving successful CMS certification. We look forward to hearing about your “gunfights” throughout MES modernization.
